Mish
I was born in Sydney, Australia, in 1991 and made Aliyah (moved to Israel) in 2013.
I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Informal Education, and until recently I worked as a hiking guide and organized educational journeys for youth groups and worked as a Primary School English Teacher. Through my work in nature with both young people and adults, I fell in love with Israel’s landscapes, its culture, and its people (especially Ido!).
Today, I’m raising my two children in Mitzpe Ramon, and we take every opportunity we can to go hiking and spend nights outdoors. That’s why joining Ohel Hostel felt like the most natural thing in the world.
I can’t wait to welcome you to our next camp!
Ido
I’m Ido (36), Mish’s partner, father to Shalom and Noam, and a member of the Urban Educators’ Kibbutz in Mitzpe Ramon.
I hold a bachelor’s degree in Education and am currently pursuing a master’s degree in Tourism and Leisure Management at Ben-Gurion University because, let’s be honest, leisure is the best part of life, isn’t it?
I’ve spent my entire career guiding hikes and working with both youth and adults. For the past five years, I’ve also been running a business that offers guided stargazing experiences with telescopes in the Ramon Crator.
And at Ohel Hostel? My main job is doing whatever Mish asks me to do…

מהשעה 14:00 ועד 18:30, הגעה לאחר 18:30 אפשרית בתיאום בלבד. צ’ק אאוט עד שעה 13:00 צריך לפנות את האוהל.
יש שתי ארוחות ביום, בוקר וערב. לצהריים ניתן להכין סנדוויצ’ים ו/או לקחת פירות לדרך. ארוחת הבוקר באוהל הוסטל מוגשת בכל יום בין השעות 7:00-10:00 באיזור המרכזי בהגשה עצמית. ארוחת הערב מוגשת בין השעות 18:30-21:00. בנוסף, באוהל הוסטל האורחים מפנים את הכלים בסיום הארוחה ושוטפים אותם. חלק מהאווירה של ארוחה בשטח.
בהוסטל יש תאורת רקע עדינה. לא בכל אוהל יש תאורה. מומלץ להצטייד בפנסים.
אוהל הוסטל הוא הוסטל נודד. בכל חודש במקום אחר בארץ לפי עונות השנה.
יציאה לטיולי כוכב באיזור או רביצה בנחת במתחם. פינת הישיבה המרכזית, היא מקום מעולה לשבת ולתכנן את היום שלכם בעזרת המלצות שלנו ומידע שהכנו בשבילכם על האיזור. ניתן להצטרף לסיור היומי שיוצא מההוסטל או לטייל עצמאית. בהוסטל מתקיימת גם פעילות לילדים בתחומים של יצירה, חברה ובישול. קיימת אפשרות להצטרף לסדנאות מקומיות בתוספת תשלום ברישום מראש.
עקב מספר תקריות לא נעימות, החלטנו לא לאפשר זאת יותר. סליחה.
שק שינה או מצעים ושמיכה, בגדים נוחים להליכה, פנס, בגד ים, תיק למסלול, כובע, נעליים נוחות, כלי רחצה, מגבת ו-3 בקבוקי מים (יש אפשרות למילוי חוזר לאורך השהות). אם אתם מנגנים, נשמח שתביאו גם את כלי הנגינה שלכם.
ביצוע ההזמנה מגיל 18 בלבד. משפחות מוזמנות בשמחה, ילדים מתחת לגיל 18 מחוייבים בליווי מבוגר.
